Hey all! Yes I've been out of (DevArt) action for quite some time now! I've been viewing and appreciating everyone else's art but have not submitted for some time. I've taken thousands of photos since my last submission and will sort through and pick out the (few) good ones to submit as soon as I have time. Anyway the latest round of submissions are from a recent trip to Deua National Park, in NSW Australia. It was a short trip where the weather was quite wet, so not much time for taking good photos. This was actually taken in my backyard (hope it doesn't spoil the atmosphere of the pic). I love having fires like this, I think it's a very social way of catching up with friends... Video nights are great, but everyone shuts up because of the movie! Fires are therapeutic! I'm having one this weekend actually... I want to get some more shots, I have a tripod now and I love taking pics of fire. Watch this space :) Campfires... I love the beautiful silence, only broken by the crackling of a fire and the trickling of a nearby stream... Or it could the be the relaxed, at ease tone the people use as they chat around the fire... I'd love to have
